General purpose of the project is expanding, making more efficient and higher technical quality of the hydrological telemetry systems in the border region of river Danube, furthermore, ensuring quick access to he hydrological data for public and professional users (forecasters, defense coordinators, navigation organizations, etc.) through the internet. Data published on the website are unprocessed values exclusively for information purposes that provided by an automatic telemetry system. Data owners do not take any responsibility for incompleteness or inaccuracy of the data!
Provider of the Hungarian hydrological data is Northern-Transdanubian Water Directorate (9021 Győr, Árpád u. 28-32.)
Exclusive provider of the Slovakian hydrological data and information shown on the website is the Slovak Hydrometerological Institute (Slovenský hydrometeorologický ústav, Jeséniova 17, 833 15 Bratislava, Slovakia). Exceptions are the ice and ford data which is provided by the Slovak Water Management Enterprise, s.o.e., Branch Office Bratislava (Slovenský vodohospodársky podnik, š.p., OZ Bratislava, Karloveská 2, 842 17 Bratislava, Slovakia) as well as data provided by stations VE Gabčíkovo – downstream water, VE Gabčíkovo – upstream water, Čunovo - old riverbed – downstream water, Dobrohošť - Intake structure, Čunovo – rkm 2.352 - upstream, Čunovo – rkm 2.352 - downstream which are provided by the Water Management Investment Company, s.o.e. (Vodohospodárska výstavba, š.p., Karloveská 2, P.O.Box 45, 842 04 Bratislava, Slovakia).
Exceeding the water levels of flood protection does not mean automatic commanding of the level of flood protection!
In case of exceeding the water level of flood protection or when warning issued about flood hazard it is not recommended to be on the river!
